Living and working in France: what you need to know and formalities to complete

The ITER project is a great opportunity for France. As early as 2005, the French government set up a specific organisation to welcome the ITER project designed to simplify its installation, support the construction phase, and optimise any economic spin-offs. As part of France’s commitments to the international community, it has set up specific services trained to answer your questions and help you with any administrative procedures.

The Regional Prefect - through the General secretariat in charge of regional affairs and the Sub-prefect of Aix-en-Provence - has been given the remit of interfacing with the local authorities that provide funding for the ITER project, together with all the other public service departments and administrations.
