​Several hundred French companies have already signed contracts with ITER Organisation, e.g.: Air Liquide - an expert in cryogenics - has built the largest cryogenic plant on the ITER designed to cool key ITER components to a temperature close to absolute zero (- 269 °C). Other large French groups and small & medium-sized businesses have built partnerships with Korean, Indian, Japanese, Chinese, European, Russian and American industry players. This is the result of a strategies based on building alliances step by step. This is the case of the Var-based company called CNIM that is collaborating with Hyundai Heavy Industries, Larsen & Toubro, General Atomics and ASIPP.
